摘　　要：癫痫是一种常见病,尤其多见于青少年和老年人,大多数癫痫患者不同程度地伴有记忆缺失。许多研究表明血清中的S100B在一定程度上可以反映记忆的水平,弥补了目前对记忆评价的不足。本文在介绍S100B基本特性及作用的基础上,着重说明S100B可能用作评价癫痫患者记忆缺失的血液生化指标及作为钙结合蛋白通过钙离子、一氧化氮等在记忆方面作用的机制。Epilepsy is a kind of common disease, especially more common in adolescents and senior people. Most of epileptics are accompanied with various levels of memory deficiency. Many researches have proved that serum S100B can echo the level of memory to some extent,which can compensate for the current lack of evaluation of memory. This review is aiming to introduce the characteristics and function of S100B ,particularly to describe S100B as a biochemical indicator to evaluate memory deficiency of epileptics. In addition, S100B as a calcium - binding protein play roles in memory through calciumion and nitric oxide.
