摘　　要：现代意义上的专门用途英语产生于20世纪60年代后期，而为了克服英国和欧洲各国贸易活动中的语言障碍所编写的商务用途英语学习书籍早在15世纪末就已经出现；在中国，近代的商务英语教学可分为早期语言接触时的洋泾浜英语教学和语言交流成熟时期的标准英语的商务用途教学两个阶段。这些具有重要意义的教材读物的出现和教学活动的开展，对其学科形成具有不可忽略的实践意义。In modem times, ESP was born in the 1960s. While English books for business occurred as as the late 15th century in order to overcome language barriers in the trades between the United European countries. In China, the modem business Kingdom and early other English teaching has undergone two phases, that is, the early period of Pidgin English language teaching and maturity period of Standard English for business use. The emergence of reading materials and teaching materials and some teaching activities are of practical significance to the formation of business English discipline. And the significance can not be ignored.
