摘  要:大学英语大班化教学的普遍存在,使得探讨如何提高大班英语教学效率成为迫在眉睫的问题。该实验引入管理学的ABC分类法,分析影响大学英语大班化教学效果的主要因素,根据分析结果确定重点管理方式,将管理科学和教学法相结合提高大学英语大班化教学的效率。通过测试、问卷调查和课堂观察等收集相关实验数据,并对实验班和控制班的测试数据进行统计分析,结果表明在综合测试和口语测试中实验班均优于对照班,学生对这种综合模式持肯定态度并认可它的积极影响:比如增加了学生语言实践机会,增强了学生学习英语的信心,建立了良好合作关系并促进了学生的自主学习等。The existing large-scale college English classes make it necessary to explore a comprehensive teaching and learning approach by renovation. Based on ABC classification, this research attempts to find out the effects of targetmanagement-based teaching and learning approach on students' English ability in large English class. Data have been collected by means of tests, questionnaire as well as classroom observation. Statistical analysis is done with SPSS. Independent Samples T-test is used to analyze the collected data from involved classes. Result shows that the experimental classes outperform the control classes in written and oral examinations. The analysis of the qualitative data proves that most of the students in the experiment class have a positive attitude towards comprehensive teaching and learning approach and acknowledge its advantages such as more opportunities offered to practice language, boomed confidence in English learning, cooperative teacher-student and student-student rapport, initiative learning and so on.
