摘　　要：本文从反义成语的角度指出《新时代汉英大词典》体例不一致的几个方面:义项排列不统一、语法范畴不一致、形容词前系动词be的增减问题以及词目变体的注音问题。On account of its advantages and achievements, A New Age Chinese-English Dictionary has become the elite of C-E Dictionaries. However, this dictionary still has some irregularities in its illustrative examples. The coherent prineiple of the illustrative examples is a scientific standard to a dictionary. This paper tends to make an analysis of the idiom antonyms and aims to point out the incoherence in the illustrative examples such as in the arrangement of items, the grammatical category, the existence of be in front of the adjective, the marking of the item variety.
