Galectin-3在结肠癌中的表达及其临床意义

摘　　要：目的检测Galectin-3蛋白在结肠癌中的表达情况,初步探讨其与结肠癌临床病理特征的关系。方法用S-P免疫组化法检测92例结肠癌、20例管状腺瘤和20例正常结肠黏膜组织石蜡标本中Galectin-3蛋白的表达情况。结果Galectin-3蛋白的表达定位于细胞的胞质,着色呈黄色至棕褐色,其在结肠癌组织中的表达明显高于腺瘤组和正常黏膜组,差异有显著性(P<0.05),在腺瘤组及正常黏膜组间差异无显著性;Galectin-3蛋白的表达与结肠癌分化程度和淋巴结转移相关(P<0.05),而与患者年龄、肿瘤大小无关。结论Galectin-3蛋白高表达的结肠癌具有更高侵袭性和淋巴结转移能力,Galectin-3蛋白的差异表达可能与结肠癌的发生发展及转移有关。Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of Galectin-3 and clinicopathlolgical characters in patients with colon carcinoma.Methods Ninety-two cases with colon carcinoma,20 cases with tubular adenoma of the colon and 20 cases with normal mucous membrane of colon were studied using immunohistochemical method to assess the expression of Galectin-3.Results Expression of Galectin-3 was located in the cytoplasm of all cases with color of yellow or yellow-brown.The expression of Galectin-3 protein in colon carcinoma was significantly stronger than that in adenoma or normal mucosal tissue of colon （P〈0.05）,while the expression of Galectin-3 in adenoma was similar to normal mucosal tissue.The expression of Galectin-3 had the correlation with differentiation of colon carcinoma and lymph node metastasis （P〈0.05）,but the expression of Galectin-3 had no correlation with age or tumor size.Conclusion High expression of Galectin-3 in colon carcinoma suggests strong ability of invasion and metastasis,and the differential expression of Galectin-3 in colon carcinoma is likely related to the growth and metastasis of colon carcinoma.
