摘　　要：Blyth等人给出了具有中间幂等元的正则半群的结构，作者详细讨论富足半群上中间幂等元的性质，给出具有中间幂等元的富足半群的结构定理。Blyth gave the construction of regular semigroups with a normal medial idempotent. The authors discuss in more detail the properties of medial idempotents on abundant semigroups and give the construction of abundant semigroups with a medial idempotent.
