摘　　要：分析了现有GIS数据存储方案存在的问题,提出了Oracle Spatial在GIS数据存储方面的优势,介绍了Oracle Spatial以及Oracle Spatial 10g的新功能,以代码形式给出了Oracle Spatial 10g中GIS数据的关键操作,以西安市道路GIS数据为例说明了GIS数据是如何在Oracle 10g中存储的。The problems existing in the storage project of GIS data was analyzed firstly. After that the advantage of Oracle Spatial in storage of GIS data and the Oracle Spatial and the new function of Oracle Spatial 10g were introduced. The key operation of GIS data in Oracle Spatial 10g was listed in the form of code. Finally the road GIS data of the city of Xi＇an was used as an example to explain how the GIS data was preserved in the Oracle 10g.
