摘　　要：以高等院校数学专业课程"矩阵分析"的教学为例,讨论了应用教学在大学数学教学中的地位。通过教学与科研工作的有机结合,在适当地选取应用实例后,可以通过"以问题引导教学"及"在理论教学中插入应用示例"两种方式提高学生学以致用的兴趣,同时培养学生的自主思维能力和动手能力,加深对所学知识的理解和运用。教学实践表明,该方法能有效提高学生的学习兴趣,避免在教学过程中出现学习疲劳的现象。Based on the teaching of Matrix Analysis, the status of application teaching in college mathematics education is discussed. By combining the teaching with scientific research and selecting proper application examples, adopts the methods of ＂Leading the teaching by problem＂ and＂inserting application examples in theory teaching＂ to improve students＇ interests to apply what they learn and to train their independent thinking and hands-on abilities. The teaching practices show that this method can increase the students＇ interests of study and avoid the weary phenomena in studying.
