摘　　要：墨西哥基础教育阶段的《外语教学大纲》强调"语言的社会实践",将它视为外语学习的目的,使学生能使用该语言从事各种社会实践活动,并有效地参与校内外的生活。该大纲还指出,学习具有建设性的本质,学生应是知识的积极创造者,而教师作为一种外语最具经验的使用者,承担着创造条件使学生接触语言、实践语言,并对其进行指导的任务。此外,教材的质量与所采取的教学方法有很大关联,各种篇章的教材应尽可能反映现实、具有明确的目的性、很强的实用性并具有真正的语言模式。Mexico's foreign language syllabus for elementary education emphasizes 'social practice of language',which aims to motivate students to take part in various social activities effectively,both on campus and off campus ones,via the foreign languages they learn.Learning is considered a constructive process in which students are active creators of knowledge.Teachers as experienced users of a foreign language are responsible for creating opportunities for the students to access and use language and for guiding them in the process.There is a strong correlation between the quality of teaching materials and the teaching methods adopted.Teaching materials should be realistic and practical,with a clear purpose,and embody truly useful language patterns.
