摘 要:吴宓、胡适两位著名学者同为"庚款"留美学生。吴宓师从哈佛教授白璧德,受到新人文主义的熏陶,胡适在哥伦比亚大学受教于实用主义大师杜威,毕生实践着实用主义教育观。吴宓、胡适所受导师的影响及二人本身在哲学观上的差异导致了他们教育思想的相通与差异。本文在综合比较了二位学者之间教育观的异同处及其形成原因后揭示了他们的教育观对我国现行教育的借鉴意义与价值。Wu Mi and Hu Shi are both of the "Boxer" U.S.students,Wu Mi,whose professor was Babbitt,studying at Harvard,edificated by the new humanism.Hu Shi was taught by Dewey who was the Master of pragmatism at Columbia University.He practiced Pragmatic education during his life.The influence of their respective mentors and their own different views about philosophy led to the differences and similarities in their educational thought.This paper,after analyzing the two scholars' differences and similarities between their educational views and reasons,reveals their educational views' referential meaning and value to our existing education.
