摘　　要：公安学在我国是一门新兴学科,但是已经取得了丰硕的成果。将公安学建设为一级学科,不仅是公安学自身发展的需要,也是提高人才培养质量、加强公安工作和公安队伍的正规化建设、维护国家安全和社会公共安全的需要。公安学作为一级学科的基本条件已经完全具备。当前,在认识上应当正确处理好几个关系。The Public Security Science is an emerging science in China, but it has achieved fruitful academic results. As a First Class Discipline, the construction of the Public Security Science is not only to meet the need of its own development, but also improve the quality of Chinese police personnel training, strengthen the regularization of public security work and the public security force, so as to meet the need of maintain national security and social safety. The basic conditions of the Public Security Science as a First Class Discipline is fully equipped. At present, several relations in the construction of the Public Security Science should be correctly understood and handled.
