摘　　要：文学从来都是人学。人的精神性的存在一直是美学和文艺学的思想主题。悲剧是文学艺术的最高形态;悲剧理论是美学思想的重要组成部分。本文从悲剧起源、悲剧品格本质和中国悲剧文学缺失三个方面论证了悲剧品格能够完善人的精神性的存在,能够维持人的自然性、社会性、精神性的三角平衡,提出悲剧品格对于建立良好的精神生态系统不可或缺。Literature is always about man. Man＇s existence as a spiritual subject is the eternal theme in aesthetics and arts. Tragedy is the highest form of art; tragic theory is the most important part of aesthetics. Tragic sense can perfectly improve man＇ s spiritual nature, and maintain a subtle balance among man＇s natural nature,social nature and spiritual nature. Tragedy is indispensible in building a good balanced spiritual system.
