摘　　要：当前教育的基础性、先导性、全局性地位和作用越来越突出。公安教育事关公安工作和公安队伍建设全局,面对新形势、新任务对公安工作提出的新要求、新挑战,我国公安机关正积极探索职业化变革模式。变革的动力源于我国政治和经济改革、公务员制度的建立与完善以及社会治安治理与世界警务发展趋势的诉求。通过背景分析有助于提升改革认识、积极推动公安教育改革。the role of current education tends to be basic, instructing and multi - sectors. Police education and training are closely related to the construction of policing and staffs. Public security organs of China are working hard to explore the mode of reform to cope with new chal- lenges. The drive of the reform originated from the political and economic reform of China, the system of civil servants and requirements from social security and world policing. The article is to analyze the background of the reform to promote awareness of it and enhance the reform.
