摘　　要：本文结合内存管理项目深入研究了Linux在系统引导过程中的保护模式下的工作,对于实现内存管理有重要意义。着重论述重置描述符表、检测A20地址线、检测数学协处理器以及分页处理等机制。本文为掌握嵌入式系统的内存架构、嵌入式系统启动过程,嵌入式系统扩展内存提供了非常重要的依据。This thesis deeply discusses the protected mode work of Linux boot manager based on the memory management project, It is very import to implement the memory management.This thesis discusses how to reset descriptor table,detect A20 address line,detect math coprocessor and deal with pagination.This thesis makes us know memory architecture of embedded system,boot process of embedded system, extended memory of embedded system well.
