摘　　要：2009年,新加坡政府采取有力措施确保政治社会稳定;由于受全球金融危机的影响,新加坡经济陷入衰退,2009年经济萎缩2%,但全年经济表现比预期要好;外交上,新加坡成功主办亚太经合组织(APEC)系列会议,积极参与东盟事务和区域经济合作,中新关系保持良好发展势头。In 2009, the Singapore government took effective measures to ensure the political and social stability;on economy,due to the global financial crisis,Singapore＇s economy stepped into recession with the economic contraction of 2% in 2009, but better than the expected economic performance ; on diplomacy, the series of meetings of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation （APEC）was successfully hosted, participated actively in the ASEAN affairs and regional economic cooperation, and the China＇Singapore relations maintained sound momentum of development.
