摘　　要：上海电视大学走过了50年辉煌的历程,在开放性与教学现代化两大命题,远程教育事业、专业与产业三业协调发展,远程开放教育的集团化、国际化以及为终身教育体系构建服务等方面做出了令世人瞩目的成绩。本文讨论了上海电大奋斗历程的若干关键点及其为中国和国际远程教育做出的特殊贡献,分析了在辉煌成绩和特殊贡献背后上海电大改革和发展的学术研究支撑体系,概括了上海电大理论研究、实践探索与政策咨询相结合,学术研究与事业发展互动,促进远程教育事业科学发展,提升和彰显远程教育核心竞争力的若干基本经验。探讨这些问题对中国乃至国际远程教育的发展都有着重要的指导意义和作用。Shanghai TV University has a proud history of fifty years with remarkable achievements in the modernization of open education, mutual development of corporate as well as educational interests, and the institutionalization of a corporate, international educational group serving needs of lifelong learning. This paper discusses historical milestones and contributions of Shanghai TV University in the development of distance education during the fifty years. The achievements are grounded mainly in the success of research support systems. The author also summarizes lessons learned in linking research to practice, in linking academic developments to industrial developments, in shaping a scientific distance education environment, and in promoting the competitiveness of distance education.
