摘 要:在现代中国人认识日本的过程中,作家是一个主要群体。中国现代作家中的许多人,青年时代负笈东瀛,早年的留日经历,使他们对日本有了较为深刻的认识,形成了爱恨交织的情感基调。9.18事变和1.28事变,中日两国进入局部战争状态,迫使作家们面临艰难的思考和痛苦的选择。在对待日本的态度上,形成了以邹韬奋为代表的激进派、以胡适及其《独立评论》派同仁为代表的保守派的分野,鲁迅、蔡元培、周作人等也持有理性的态度,不断告诫中国的年轻人保持冷静。同时,巴金、陶亢德等人数度警告日本人。到了1935年之后,随着日本军部势力的步步紧逼,不论保守派还是激进派,都认识到中日大战已然无法避免,中国现代作家的主流层面,经历了由惋惜到决裂的心路历程。可以说,中国现代作家的对日认识,是爱恨交织、惋惜、再到决裂的三部曲。Writers as a whole have always been the major entity of Chinese people to understand Japan,and the early overseas study experience in Japan provided them both a profound understanding of the country and a mixed emotion of love and hatred.September 18 and January 28 incidents forced parts of China to take rightful arms and most of the intellecturals to take painful sides.Radicalism represented by Zou Taofen,conservatism represented by Hu Shi and his colleagues in The Independent Review are the two major trends,meanwhile a rational attitude was advocated by Lu Xun,Cai Yuanpei and Zhou Zuoren,who constantly warned the youth to remain calm.At the same time,Ba Jin and Tao Kangde kept warning the Japanese.But since 1935,with the menacing advances of Japanese armies,both the conservatives and radicals realized a large scale Sino-Japanese war had become unavoidable,thus the main current of Chinese intellectuals then had experienced a painful psychic metastasis from rueful to ruptual towards Sino-Japanese relations.Consequently,it is safe to say that the Chinese modern writers had undergone three main psychic metastasis phases:being mixed feelings,rueful and ruptured.
