摘　　要：目的了解农村育龄夫妇对地中海贫血(地贫)预防知识知晓情况和南宁市政府免费为农村育龄夫妇实施地贫筛查项目后的地贫预防知识宣传效果,为政府决策部门更好地做好后续工作提供决策依据。方法对2006/2008年南宁市12区、县参与免费地贫筛查项目的农村育龄夫妇进行地贫预防知识问卷调查。结果2006/2008年3年分别发放调查问卷10000、12000和18000份,分别回收有效问卷7895、10120和16698份。结果显示:项目实施的2006年,48.64%被调查者知道什么是地贫,86.99%被调查者认为有必要在婚前或孕前做地贫筛查;项目实施第二年和第三年的2007和2008年,被调查农村育龄夫妇对地贫的知晓率明显提高,分别达到87.80%(χ2=3298.87,P=0.000)和86.76%(χ2=4104.36,P=0.000);认为有必要在婚前或孕前做地贫筛查的比率也有明显提高,分别达到了95.59%(χ2=437.01,P=0.000)和97.56%(χ2=1090.88,P=0.000),与2006年比较,差异具有统计学意义。结论实施地贫筛查项目,提高了农村育龄夫妇对地贫预防相关知识的知晓率,对地贫预防具有重要意义。Objective To investigate the recognition of thalassemia prevention among people of productive age in villages of Nanning Guangxi, and the effect of propaganda and education in thalassemia prevention after the free screening item carried out by Nanning government, therefore to provide reliable information for government to further works. Methods From 2006 to 2008, adults of productive age in villages of 6 counties and 6 regions in Nanning Guangxi were investigated. Questionnaire included two questions as ＂Do you know thalassemia？＂ and ＂Do you think it is necessary to perform thalassemia screening before marriage or pregnancy？＂. In 2006 to 2008, 10 000, 12 000 and 18 000 questionnaire were dis persed respectively. Results In 2006 to 2008, 7895, 10 120, 16 698 valid questionnaire were reclaimed. In 2006, one year after the commencing of this item, 48.64% of the subjects knew what is thalassemia and 86. 99% thought necessary to perform thalassemia screening before marriage or pregnancy. In 2007 and 2008, recognition of thalassemia improved to 87. 80Y0 （x2 = 3298. 87,P = 0. 000） and 86.76% （x2 = 4104. 36,P = 0. 000） respectively, and peoples thought that thalassemia screening is necessary before marriage or pregnancy increased to 95.59% （x2 = 437.01, P = 0. 000） and 97. 56% （x2 = 1090. 88,P = 0. 000） respectively. Conclusion Free thalassemia screening for adults of productive age in villages by Nanning government improves the recognition of thalassemia, which is important for thalassemia prevention.
