奥古斯丁《忏悔录》的文化意蕴分析

摘　　要：圣·奥古斯丁并不属于欧洲中世纪的思想家、宗教家和哲学家,只不过是古代基督教神学的拉丁教父而已。但由于他生活在罗马帝国及其古代文化已近解体,基督教逐渐开始占据社会生活各个方面的历史文化转折时期,加之他的思想对欧洲中世纪基督教思想学说影响极为巨大。因此,他的创作带有鲜明地文化转型特征。《忏悔录》无论在思想内容和艺术特征上都与古代文化明显不同,而对后代欧洲中世纪文化和文学具有开拓之功。The St.Augustine is not part of the European Middle Ages thinkers,religionists and philosophers,but the Latin godfather of the ancient Christian theology.But because he lived in the Roman Empire and its ancient culture nearly disintegrated,and Christianity gradually began to occupy all aspects of social life,which turned out to be historical and cultural transitional period.Besides,his thoughts had an enormous impact on the European Middle Ages Christian doctrine.Thus,his works are characterized with the distinctive cultural transformation.＂Confessions＂,in terms of ideological content and artistic features,are significantly different from the ancient culture.But it led a pioneering role in medieval European culture and literature.
