西部农村中学英语教师职业发展需求调查分析——以甘肃省为例

摘  要:Based on the questionnaires and interviews, this paper, in terms of target needs and learning needs, analyses the needs of professional development of the middle school English teachers in rural areas of western China. The analysis shows that all the subjects need to improve the Basic English language skills and knowledge. In-service training and retraining are the effective ways to help develop their professionalism, but due to the limitations of all kinds of obstacles, their learning needs cannot be met. Only by the concerted efforts by the society and the teachers themselves, the problems arising in their professional development can be solved.根据自编的问卷调查和访谈,本文从目标需求和学习需求两方面对西部农村中学英语教师的职业发展需求追行了调查分析。调查结果表明,农村中学英语教师在英语语言知识和技能方面有待提高。在职进修或再培训是解决问题的有效途径,但由于客观条件限制,教师的学习需求得不到满足。只有社会和个人共同努力,才能解决农村中学英语教师的职业发展问题。
