摘　　要：霍俊明的《尴尬的一代——中国70后先锋诗歌》是第一部关于70后诗人/诗歌的研究专著,其主要成就体现在三个方面:一是对70后诗人/诗歌的特殊历史语境的分析和描述;二是对70后诗人的整体扫描;三是对70后诗人中的优秀代表进行诗学聚焦,充分地阐述了其诗歌价值和历史地位。总体上说,这本书向读者呈现的是一部70后诗人的影像志。An Embarrassing Generation—the Vanguard Verse of the 1970s in China is a treatise on poets and poems in the 1970s,whose main achievements are manifest in three aspects：an analysis and description of the special historical context of poets and poems in the 1970s,an overall survey of poets of the 1970s,and a poetic focus on fine representatives of poets in the 1970s as well as a complete exhibition of their poetic values and historical position. On the whole,this book is an image collection of poets in the 1970s.
