摘　　要：巴金的小说《寒夜》以战时陪都重庆为背景,为大后方人民的苦难生活提供了典型人物和典型细节。作家在这部史诗式的作品中,以冷峻忧郁的深情笔调描写了小人物的苦难。Ba Jin is Cold Night,set in ChongQing during the Anti-Japanes war,provides readers with some typical information and details about the sufferings of the home front.In this epic-like novel,the author depicts the tribulations of ordinary people with Cold Night yet sentimental affection.
