摘　　要："放生"作为一种民俗事象,与人类历史共时,各个时代文化背景、人类认识观念的差异令放生在不同时期呈现出不同的内涵特征与审美趋向。放生在其发展历程中积累了丰富的放生思想、放生题材类型、放生作品的艺术表达方式,放生表达既是一种宗教关怀的体现,也是中华民族延绵不息的精神财富。Freeing captive animals as a folk phenomenon is as old as the history of humankind.The cultural backgrounds of different historical eras and the difference in understanding resulted in the different content and aesthetic trends in the practice in different historical periods.The practice of freeing captive animals has developed a rich ideology and accumulated themes and artistic forms of expression in its course of development.It is a manifestation of religious care and a spiritual treasure of the Chinese nation.
