摘　　要：世界贸易的发展促使世界航运队伍迅速扩大,我国远洋运输业从业人员英语口语交际能力偏低已成为制约我国航运事业参与国际竞争的瓶颈。学生良好的素质是提高英语口语交际能力的必要条件,因此航海类院校的英语教师一定要在教授学生英语知识和专业英语知识的同时切实培养学生良好的综合素质,尤其是心理素质。The development of international trade helps the rapid enlargement of seafarers.Poor oral English communication of Chinese seafarers restricts their competitive ability in the international labor market.Students＇ high quality is the essential condition of improving their oral English communication.Therefore,English teachers shall cultivate students＇ comprehensive quality,especially psychological quality while they are teaching their students English knowledge and the professional English.
