摘 要:本研究将小组合作课堂展示(group presentation)创造性地引入大学英语课堂教学,在一年半的实践中,逐步构建了"以学生为中心"的大学英语课堂,实现了有效教学。通过实践过程中的观察、问卷调查以及学生的反思性评价,笔者发现这种教学形式能够:(1)促使学生综合运用各种技能,提高学生的英语综合能力;(2)激发学生的英语学习兴趣,增强学习自主性和自信心;(3)增强团队合作意识,改善大学生的人际关系;(4)实现师生角色互动,建立良好的师生关系。The present study, building on the creative application of "group presentation" to the college English classroom during the last one and a half years, proves that it is effective in the making of "leamer-cen- tered" classrooms. Based on observations, questionnaires, and students'reflective comments, it is noted that this teaching method can: ( 1 ) encourage students to use various language skills and improve their English competence ; (2) arouse students' interest in learning English, promote their initiative and increase their self- confidence; (3) raise students' awareness of teamwork and cooperation, and improve their interpersonal relationship; (4) achieve interactions between students and the teacher, thereby promoting the teacher-student harmony.
