摘　　要：美国著名剧作家尤金.奥尼尔的《进入黑夜的漫长旅行》是一部感人的家庭悲剧。本文从原型批评视角分析这部作品之所以能成为一部伟大作品,能感动无数读者的一个重要原因是该作品触动了人类大家庭共同分享的集体无意识。The Long Day’s Journey into Night by Eugene O’Neill describes a very touching family tragedy.This paper attempts to interpret it from the perspective of archetypal criticism,with the purpose of disclosing that the reason why such a great work can be composed and why readers can be so moved,to some extent,may be that the play touches people’s collective unconscious shared in the psychic inheritance of all members of the human family.
