Objective: To investigate the expression and clinical significance of chemokine receptor-7 (CCR7),matrix metalloproteinase9 (MMP-9) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)in T-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (T-NHL).Methods: Specimens of 41 T-NHL cases (T-NHL group) and 19 reactive lymphoid hyperplasia cases (control group)were collected along with their clinicopathologic data. The expressions of CCR7,MMP-9 and VEGF were detected using immunohistochemical staining and were then used to study the correlation between the expression and clinicopathologic factors. Results: The expressions of CCR7,MMP-9 and VEGF were significantly higher in T-NHL group than those of control (P 0.01),and the overexpression rates were 82.9%,87.8% and 51.2%,respectively.The overexpression rates of CCR7 and MMP-9 were found more in patients with more lesions than those in patients with single lesion (P 0.05).There was no correlation between the expressions of CCR7,MMP-9 and VEGF (P 0.05).Conclusion: Overexpressions of CCR7,MMP-9 and VEGF were detected in T-NHL,which may be the unfavorable factors influencing prognosis of T-NHL patients.
