摘　　要：探讨中学生运动员的成就动机水平,为更好的理解与引导他们的成就行为,培养和激发其内在动机,并为中学生运动员的选材与训练提供科学的理论依据。通过研究得出中学生运动员追求成功的动机在学段上存在显著差异,乡镇高于城市接近显著水平,性别之间无差异,在避免失败的动机上无差异。In order to have better understanding and to guide on middle school athletes＇achievement behavior, train and stimulate their inherent motive and offer scientific theoretical foundation for selecting and training of middle school athletes. Results show that： There are prominent differences in middle school athletes ＇achievement motive when they are in different terms; athletes from villages have higher level of motivation than that from towns; there is no difference between different genders; and there is no difference on their motive of avoiding failure.
