园亭、市肆与湖山——清中叶扬州北郊园林的本质特征

摘　　要：刘大观对清中叶扬州、苏州、杭州的评论带来一些问题,学界也一直对此有所争论,该文通过分析刘大观此评论的语境与真实意义,并辅以其他材料佐证,认为扬州北郊的"园亭",在清中叶已由私家园林转化与整合为类似城市公共旅游场所的"名胜",而非与同时代苏州园林类似的私家园林。并因此认为对清中叶扬州园林的研究,应赋予新的角度与意义。LIU Da-guan？？s comments on gardens of the 18th century in Yangzhou, Suzhou and Hangzhou remain controversial in Chinese Academia. This article explores the context and the implied meanings of Liu？？s comments. It finds out that the northern suburb of Yangzhou, private gardens had been transformed into places with public interests. Comparing with Suzhou private gardens in the same period, the article suggests a new perspective beyond enclosed private gardens to observe traditional Chinese landscape of the 18th century.
