摘　　要：AT&T公司近日宣布,将在2010年投资约10亿美元,用于发展为企业客户提供的服务,并拓展其全球网络。这是该公司在本轮金融危机爆发后进行的又一次面向全球的投资。而且,包括今年的投资计划在内,从2006年起,AT&T投放在以商务为主的网络、系统和应用方面的资金将累计超过40亿美元。AT&T将重点投资哪些领域?公司坚持进行投资出于哪些考虑?近日,《世界电信》记者(以下简称"WT")就企业发展的话题与今年年初上任的AT&T大中华区总经理吴英才(以下简称"吴")进行了交流。吴英才表示,大中华区是AT&T在亚太区的重要市场。AT&T将对一系列创新性的服务领域进行重点投资,同时,利用自身在网络、数据中心、客户资源等方面的经验和优势,通过按需服务等灵活的模式,为客户提供优质的服务及应用。AT&T Inc. has announced recently,that it will invest about 1 billion U.S. dollars in 2010 for the development of enterprise services and the expansion of global network. This is AT&T's another global investment after the outbreak of financial crisis. With above investment included,AT&T's expense in business-oriented network,systems and applications since 2006 is reaching to an accumulative total of more than 4 billion U.S. dollars. Recently,the reporter of the World Telecom interviewed Wu Yingcai,general manager of the AT&T Greater China who took office early this year,about the topic of enterprise services. According to Wu Yingcai,the development of high-speed communication network has provided business opportunities for enterprises;AT&T's 2010 investment plan is to upgrade the existing high flexibility collaboration services and applications,including network hosting,cloud computing based service,telepresence video conference,unified communications,digital media solution and network security. In addition,AT&T deemed Greater China Area one of the most important strategic markets for growth in Asia-Pacific region,and will continue to excavate its market potential.
