摘 要:近年来,我国恶性肿瘤死亡率逐年上升,已经成为我国居民的首位疾病死因。为了适应建设高水平肿瘤学人才队伍的实际需求,武汉大学中南医院肿瘤科自2004年开始试行肿瘤学双语教学,旨在培养既具有高水平肿瘤学专业知识、技能,又具有高水平英语交流应用能力的高素质医学人才。通过双语教学与专业课程改革的融合及教师队伍的建设,逐步建立与完善了肿瘤学双语教学体系,培养了一批高水平的肿瘤学专业人才,形成了具有鲜明特色的教学模式和评价体系。With the annual increases in mortality rate since the beginning of the new century, cancer has stood out as the number 1 disease killer for the Chinese population. Disproportionate to this grim reality is the acute short of oncology specialty professionals with a thorough and systemic theoretical study and clinical training. In order to meet the urgent need for high level oneology professionals, a bilingual (Chinese-English) teaching system of oncology had been established on the basis of current status and future changes in China's cancer medicine at the Department of Oncology, Zhonguan Hospital of Wuhan Uni- versity since 2004, with special focus on the extensive and intensive book study and clinical training for undergraduates and postgraduates. As a result, such bilingual oncology teaching system had integrated spe- ciahy course reform with teaching staff construction, formed a unique teaching model and evaluation criteria, and produced a batch of high level oncology students with good performance. The experience had been summarized as five ' A' s : a practical strategy, a good teaching staff, a popular bilingual course of oncology, a comprehensive teaching plan, and a good teaching preparation.
