摘　　要：本研究以CNKI中国引文数据库(新)收录的1979-2008年间"高等教育专题"论文为研究对象,运用内容分析法,对其中4253篇高被引论文所使用的研究方法进行了分析。研究显示,我国高等教育研究方法论正从单一的思辨研究趋向多样化,但思辨研究仍是主要方法。方法案例分析表明,思辨研究只适合少数有条件的使用者——有着丰富的高等教育实践经验和对高等教育改革与发展有真知灼见的思想家或领导者;质性研究以质性描述为主;定量研究大部分属于调查研究;质性研究和定量研究的研究规范有待改进。作者认为,高等教育学学科走向成熟,研究方法论的进步是关键,因此,高等教育研究必须倡导以实证研究为主,推进研究方法多样化,提升研究设计精致度。This research takes 4253 highly cited papers from ＂Higher Education Research Monograph＂ in Chinese Citation Database of CNKI from the year of 1979 to 2008 as research samples and analyzes their research methods by content analysis. The result shows that higher education research methods in China are tending to be diversified from single philosophical method, but the theoretical research is still the major method. The method case analysis demonstrates that the theoretical research is just suited to a Jew think- ers or leaders who have rich experience of and a deep insight into higher education reform and develop- ment. The qualitative research relies mainly on qualitative description, and the quantitative research relies on investigation. The research standards of both qualitative research and quantitative research should be improved. The authors consider that the improvement of methodology is the key for the development of higher pedagogy. We should establish the leading post of empirical research in higher education research, promote the diversification of research method and perfect the research design.
