摘　　要：国内外个人数字图书馆发展研究目前还处在发展初期。个人数字图书馆是公共数字图书馆服务的延伸，以信息、知识共享为原则，并实现从信息管理到知识管理的升华。本文对个人数字图书馆定义、网络与个人数字图书馆的关系、功能、必要性、构建要求等方面进行了初步探讨，认为个人数字图书馆在网络社会有着广阔的发展前景。The research on the development of individual digital library is still in initial stage both at home and abroad. Individual digital library, as the extension of public digital library, is established based on the share of knowledge and information, raising management of information to management of knowledge. This paper makes a preliminary discussion of the individual digital library in respect of definition, relation with network, functions, necessity, construction requirements, etc, and concludes that individual digital library has a bright prospect of development in the networked society.
