摘　　要：城市规划专业的GIS课程教学具有一定的独特性和复杂性,通过理论与实践的紧密结合,设置与城市规划相关的课程项目"城市避难场所规划设计",贯穿整个GIS课程教学过程,有效地提高了学生的主观能动性和GIS技能的综合运用能力,对推进城市规划专业GIS课程的教学具有很好的参考价值。GIS teaching system in Urban Planning has definite characters and complexities.For the integration of theory and practice,a curricular project：＂planning and design of urban shelter＂ was set through the GIS teaching system,which effectively motivated the students＇ initiative and the comprehensive use of GIS skills.This teaching experiment has a good reference value for promoting the GIS curriculum in urban planning.
