新形势下远程教育在创建和谐农村社区中的作用——以苏州地区为中心

摘　　要：建设社会主义和谐新农村,教育必须先行。电大远程教育作为重要的教育形式,应该担负起先行者的重任。通过剖析苏州地区农村人口的教育现状,可以看出,电大远程教育在建设社会主义和谐新农村中处于主体地位。根据目前农村教育的需求和特征,提出了远程教育在农村和谐社会建设过程中的思路与对策。Education comes first to establish new harmonious socialist rural community. As an important means of education, the distance education of radio ＆ television university ought to take the great responsibility of being a pioneer in this movement. The paper analyzes the Suzhou schooling of the countryside people, and through which we can conclde that it is on the principal status of the distance education of radio ＆ television university in establishing new harmonious socialist rural community. Moreover, the author presents some thoughts and tactics about how to make distance education function in the harmonious rural community establishment.
