摘 要:海外华文教育发轫于海外华侨华人之特定环境,对外汉语教学则由国内向外辐射为始端。对外汉语教学和海外华文教育这两种教育形式各有优势和特点,两种管理和运行体系不必改变,可以做到并行不悖。对于华文教育而言,要把华文教育的政策性、国际性和社会功能放在首位,而不必过于强调其学科性、学术性和理论性。Overseas Chinese education originated from the special living circumstances of overseas Chinese, while teaching Chinese as a foreign language started from the influence of China to the world. The two systems of education, with their own advantages and characteristics, can go hand in hand without changing management and operation of the tWO systems. Regarding to national administrative departments and educational institutes, the property of policy, internationality and social function of Chinese teaching should be taken as the first priority, while the properties of subject, learning and theory should not be excessively paid much attention to.
