摘　　要：邓恩的诗歌以其玄学思维和陌生化表达而著称,而广博的科学知识为其诗歌创作提供了不竭的源泉。邓恩的诗作中既包含源自新科学和新发现的意象,也包含从托勒密传统宇宙论中汲取的旧科学意象;既有地理探索发现带给他的灵感,也有古代炼金术和元素理论对他根深蒂固的影响。对新旧科学知识的掌握,为邓恩创作诗歌提供了大量新奇而富有哲理的科学意象,从而使他的诗作独具个性而又意义深刻。本文通过分析新旧科学知识在邓恩诗作中的运用,以及科学意象在其情感表达中的作用,揭示了邓恩玄学思维与陌生化表达的又一重要来源。Donne＇s poetry is famous for the metaphysical thinking and defamiliarized expression.His knowledge of science provides endless source for his creation of poetry.In Donne＇s poetry,the imagery derives both from the cosmological discovery of new science and from the traditional Ptolemaic cosmology of the old science.On the one hand,the geographic exploration gave him great inspiration.On the other hand,the ancient alchemy and the theory of elements are deeply rooted in his mind.The mastery of both old and new science provides Donne with a large amount of novel and philosophical images which make his poems unique and meaningful.This paper analyzes the employment of knowledge of old and new science in Donne＇s poetry and the function of science image in the expression of affection,which disclose another important source of Donne＇s metaphysical thinking and defamiliarized expression
