摘　　要：桂林是我国石刻文献发展特别集中、且成就突出的地区。桂林石刻从文献角度而言,具有独特的特点和价值,这种特点和价值体现在三个方面:一是整体性,二是系统性,三是珍稀性和广泛性。但是,今人对桂林石刻的整理研究非常不够,有待于尽快整理出好的本子,为学界提供更可信的文献,使桂林石刻能够更好地发挥其文献价值,为学术研究作出更大贡献。Guilin is a place abounding in ancient stone inscriptions. They have unique documentary ieatures and value, which can be illustrated in three aspects： integrity, systemicness, rarity and extensiveness. Nevertheless, the current research on Guilin stone inscriptions is far from enough, and a high-quality collection is of a great necessity so as to provide more authentic document for the academic circle to make a greater contribution to academic research, giving full play to their documentary value.
