摘　　要："谜语特质"是阿多诺对现代主义艺术意旨的独特设定。该设定既是对传统美学带来的艺术危机的回应,也是对文化产业表征的现代性危机的回应。这种双重回应及其表征的现代主义美学思想尽管弥漫着悲观的气息且带有乌托邦的色彩,但它毕竟拥有批判性的张力,指明了通往完整的自由、通往艺术真理的审美赎救之路。＂Enigmatic Quality＂ is Adorno＇s unique summarization of the intention of modernist art.It is a response both to the art crisis brought about with the traditional aesthetic and to the modernist crisis represented by the cultural industry.The duality and the modernist aesthetics in it,although permeated with pessimism and the tinge of Utopia,possess the critical tension and point out the road of aesthetic redemption leading to the unmutilated freedom and the truth.
