摘  要:以互联网、信息与交流技术为代表的新技术革命在我国引发了包括英语在内的各个学科教学的革命。EFL教师信息素养的高低直接关系到当前信息化语言教学改革的成功。本文从EFL教师应该具备的信息素养入手,结合EFL教师专业发展的内容和特点来探讨信息素养与EFL教师专业发展的理论关联,指出提升信息素养是网络教学环境下促进EFL教师专业发展的新途径,最后指出基于信息素养的专业发展的有效途径。The development of contemporary information and communication technologies brings about reforms in various fields, including English learning and teaching. Moreover, the improvement of EFL teachers' information literacy has become a key to the success of information - oriented language education reform. This paper tries to establish the theoretical correlation between teachers' information literacy and EFL teacher development by analyzing the basic contents of information literacy and the contents and features of EFL teacher development, and points out that teacher development just depends on how to enhance teachers' information literacy. This paper finally points out the effective pathways based on the information literacy to improve teacher professional development.
