从跨文化角度看英汉“词汇真空”现象

摘　　要：由于英汉两种语言的文化意蕴差异性,普遍存在英汉"词汇真空"现象。从跨文化角度探究英汉"词汇真空"现象的特征:词汇完全真空、词汇部分真空和词汇真空下的文化冲突。为了促进两种语言文化交流,重点探究了英汉"词汇真空"的归化法与异化法、意译法与音译法、改译法与借译法的翻译策略。Vocabulary vacancy exists universally because of the different cultural implications between English and Chinese.Features of vocabulary vacancy are explored from the cross-cultural angle：absolute vacancy,partial vacancy and cultural conflict.In order to promote cultural communication translation strategies of vacant vocabulary are discussed,including domestication,foreignization,free translation,transliteration,combination of transliteration with free translation,and loan translation.
