就职演讲语篇建构的评价视角

摘　　要：作为系统功能语言学在人际意义上的新发展,评价理论关注语篇中可以协商的各种态度。文章应用这一理论,对美国总统布什2001年、2005年和奥巴马2008年就职演讲语篇中的评价资源进行标示分析,探寻此类语篇中评价资源的分布态势和基调。结果表明,总统就职演讲语篇中,评价资源中的评判资源在语篇中前景化,以渗透性韵律建构语篇的人际意义,推动语篇主题的实现。Appraisal theory,new development of functional linguistics,concerns about discourse analysis.It is argued that interpersonal meaning should be taken into consideration in the study of discourse construction.With inaugural speech as the analytical object,the paper attempts to study how discourse is constructed based on appraisal theory.It is found that the judgment resources foreground in the inaugural speeches in a saturating prosody.
