摘　　要：主要介绍JDK1．1上JavaAWT的一些有代表性非常关键的类以及这些类之间的相互关系，讨论并且比较JDK和Kaffe两种不同环境对JavaAWT的实现方法的优点和缺点。This paper provides an overview of the structure of Java AWT and a brief introduction of the inter-relationships between the AWT key components of JDK1. 1 design. Then it moves on to the topic of the Java AWT'S implementation upon two major Java run time environments: JDK provided by SUN Microsystems & Kaffe provided by Transvirtual Technologies. Inc. It also features the comparision between these two implementations.
