摘　　要：伴随市场经济条件下的社会转型及体制转轨,公民关注和参与志愿服务成为历史的必然。中外传统历史文化中的友爱思想是推进及发展当代社会志愿服务事业的文化源流。友爱是志愿服务的实然意涵。当代社会的志愿服务作为责任公民关爱弱势群体以及推进社会公益事业的情感与行为表达,赋予友爱思想以新的时代内涵与特质。志愿服务的伦理维度就在于以型塑社会共同体成员公民气质为基础,建构涵盖陌生社会个体之间的友爱人伦关系。With the social transformation and system transition of market economy,it is a historical necessity that citizen is interested and participating in volunteer service.The fraternity thought in histories and cultures of both China and foreign countries is the cultural source of advancing and developing of today＇s society voluntary service.Fraternity is the real meaning of the voluntary service.As the emotional and behavioral expression of a responsible citizen＇s care for vulnerable groups in order to promote social welfare undertakings,voluntary service gives fraternity thought the meaning and characteristics.The ethical dimension of voluntary service is that it constructs fraternity ethical relations between the strange society and individuals.
