摘　　要：中国的近代化面临着两难的抉择,中西文化的分辨成为近代中国的文化难题。熊十力的学说正是以"返本开新"为指归,试图从传统儒家精神中开出现代的科学、民主思想。"体用不二"是其推衍的内在依据。China＇s modernization was really a dilemma.The comparative studies of Chinese and western cultures become the most difficult problem.The purpose of XIONG Shi-li＇s theory is to create by returning to the origin,trying to develop the thought of science and democracy from the traditional Confucianism on the basis of the thought of ＂uniting the noumenon with its presentation＂.
