摘 要:景区标识牌具有为游客导游,引导游客在景区内顺利游览的功能,是景区必不可少的服务设施。标识牌准确规范的外文翻译不仅能为国外游客提供直接的服务,也是他们认知景区乃至景区所在地的重要窗口,具有特别价值。但国内和省内不少景区标识牌的英文翻译或多或少存在一些问题。对贵阳市40个景区标识牌的英文翻译作了全面调查,将存在的问题归纳为六类:一是直译错误;二是语法错误;三是拼写错误;四是措词错误;五是翻译累赘;六是翻译不到位,并以举例方式对这些问题作了修正,以期引起有关部门的重视。Signs, having the function that shows tourists around smoothly, is the necessary service facility in scenic spots. The standard translation of the signs, which not only provides direct service for foreign tourists, but also is the important channels the foreigners know the place, has special value. But there exist many problems on the sign-translation in our province, even in our country. The authors did a thorough investigation on the sing-translation towards 40 scenic spots in Guiyang City and summarized the problems as follows: word-for-word translation, grammar, spelling, diction, redundancy and inappropriate translation, giving examples to support and correct them. The authors expect that these existing problems can bring to the attention of the government concerned.
