摘　　要：土质技术、岩石工程和水资源图书馆（Geotechnical，Bock and Water Besource Library，GBOW）是美国NSFNSDL的子项目，是美国国家土木工程资源图书馆建设的第一阶段，该数字图书馆具有资源检索、基础研究、科普教育等多种功能。文章从资源组织、技术特征、服务特征、评价和建议等方面对土质技术、岩石工程和水资源图书馆做了概要的评述。As a part of the National Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Technology Education Digital Library （NSDL）, Geotechnical, Rock and Water Resource Library （GROW） is the phase one of the National Civil Engineering Educational Resources Library. The digital library＇s mission is ＂to encourage and promote interest, exploration, and learning in Civil Engineering.＂ It provides a number of resource services to a wide range of users from K-I 2 to continuing education professionals. This paper provides an overview of the major development on its resource organization, technologies employed, and services provided. Author＇s assessment of this digital library is also given.
