摘  要:口腔医学是一门理论性和操作性均很强的临床学科,从2002学年开始,我院在口腔医学本科生教学过程中首次开设了口腔医学前伸课教学,在8年的教学实践中,前伸课教学重点在教学内容、教学方式、教学评估方面进行了不断的改革,实践证明:通过的前伸课学习,同学们对口腔医学的内容、学科特点都有了初步了解,对口腔医学的学习兴趣也有了不同程度的提高。Current dental education in China still follows the teaching mode which was formed in the 1950 -1960s. Basically, the five year program of undergraduate dental education is consisted of 3 years basic medicine, one year theory study in dental medicine (the 4th year) and one year clinical practice (the 5th year) . However, it has been proved that this mode can not meet the current requirement of dental practice. Therefore, in 2002 our school in- troduced a new teaching mode in which dental education was incorporated from the first-year of education. During the eight-years teaching reform, we put much emphasis in the teaching content, the teaching method and the teaching eval- uation. Our eight year's practice proved that this new teaching mode is successful.
