摘 要:最近,国外研究人员采用酶消化法,在人根尖尚未形成的第三磨牙牙根部牙乳头组织中分离出成体干细胞,并定义为牙乳头干细胞。研究表明,与牙髓干细胞相比较,牙乳头干细胞有着更高的溴脱氧尿苷吸收率、更多的倍增数和更强的组织再生能力,其可能是一种比牙髓干细胞更早期、更优越的牙源性干细胞的资源,在牙髓再生和组织工程运用中具有广阔的应用前景。本文就其生物学特性、在牙根形成方面的潜在作用和在生物牙根工程方面的应用等作一综述。Recently, foreign researchers successfully separated stromal stem cells from apical dental papilla by enzyme digestion. It was found that stem cell from the apical papilla had significantly greater bromodeoxyuridine uptake rate, number of population doublings, and tissue regeneration capacity, when compared with dental pulp stem cell. The investigations suggested that stem cell from the apical papilla were a unique population of postnatal stem cell which distincted from dental pulp stem cell. Therefore, the aim of this paper was to summarize the biological characteristics of stem cell from the apical papilla, its potential role in continued root formation, and its application in engineering.
