摘　　要：阐明了遗传算法和神经网络结合的必要性和可行性，提出用多层前馈神经网络作为遗传搜索的问题表示方式的思想。用遗传算法和神经网络结合的方法求解了短期地震预报问题，设计了用遗传算法训练神经网络权重的新方法，实验结果显示了遗传算法快速学习网络权重的能力。In this paper, we demonstrate the necessity and possibility of combining neural network (NN) with GAs. The notion of using multilayered feed forward NN as the representation method of genetic and the searching technique is introduced. We combine GA and NN for solving short term earthquake forecasting problem, design a novel method of using GAs to train connection weights of NN.The empirical test indicates the capability of the new method in fast learning of NN and escaping local optima.
